73. Jisu's Wedding

Today, on April 7th, 2017, Jisu Kim tied the knot with her husband in Seoul. The Nano Photonics Lab members also attended and celebrated the happy occasion together with Jisu.

Congratulation on your marriage Jisu! We wish you a lifetime happiness.

72. Putu Defense

Putu has successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled Self-ALigned Nanoisland-Array Photonic Bandedge Laser on March 24th, 2017.

Putu will soon move to pursue his post-graduation career at Broadcom in Singapore.

70. Lab MT Winter 2017

Nano Photonics Lab visited Anmyeondo Island for winter 2017 MT. We spent 2 days 1 nights at a beach house from Feb 19th to Feb 20th.

69. Chang-Min's Commencement

On Friday, 17 February 2017, KAIST held 2017 commencement ceremony. One of Nano Photonics Laboratory recent graduates, Dr. Chang-Min Lee, also took part in the ceremony. The Nano Photonics Lab current members also celebrated the event with him.

66. Prof. Yong-Hee Lee is Appointed as President of KIAS

Prof. Yong-Hee Lee has been appointed as the President of Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS), starting from November 2016. KIAS, according to its homepage, was established to promote research excellence in the basic sciences.

64. Suyeon Yang Joins Nano Photonics Laboratory
